Do Your Offer A Satisfaction Guarantee?

Yes. If you’re not 100% satisfied with quality of cleaning of any of the serviced areas, and your home is as described and in average condition and you advise the office within 24hrs after your service, Maid4Condos will send a cleaner back to address any areas in which we fell short within 3 days of your original scheduled cleaning. Do You Offer Competitive Rates?

We continue to be recognized as a convenient, affordable and reliable service. There are independant cleaners and company who offer lower rates because they do not pay for liability insurance, WSIB (workers compensation) or offer any protection for their clients. Maid4Condos prides itself in providing these benefits giving peace of mind to our customers. We treat, value and compensation our staff well in turn creating passionate individuals who uphold the Maid4Condos cleaning standards and award winning reputation.

How Can I Get A Quote Or Book A Cleaning?

To build a quote and book, use our quoting tool on the home page or in various pages on the site. Fill in your location and homes details and you will be able to book directly from that quote.

What Is Your Service Area?

We currently service within the GTA and surrounding areas. To see if we service your specific area, enter your postal code on our quoting tool either in your profile or on the home page.

Are You Bonded & Insured?

Yes. Maid4Condos is very selective with our team members. We always believe best to hire for character and train for skill. All staff are employees of Maid4Condos and not independant contractors, are background checked, cleaning master class trained and certified. Maid4Condos carries all necessary insurance and coverage including 5 Million in Liability, all our staff are covered by WSIB and are all bonded.

Are Your Cleaning Staff True Employees Or Independant Contractors?

All Maid4Condos staff are true employees and not independent contractors. All have been fully trained and have various certification levels based on their experience and training received. All are background checked, cleaning master class trained and certified. They all also have WSIB coverage, are bonded and hold a 5M liability coverage.

What If There Is Damage During My Clean?

Maid4Condos Cleaners promise to conduct themselves professionally in your home at all times. In the event of an accidental damage, notify our office within 48 hours of you service. We cannot guarantee reimbursement for any damages reported more than 48 hours after the end of the cleaning appointment. Maid4Condos requests that you are accessible to be contacted so that Maid4Condos can assess and repair any damages.

Do You Clean With Pets In The Home?

Yes we do. We simply ask that you advise us in advance so we can note on your work order for allergy purposes.

What Are Your Hours Of Operation?

Our office is open between 9am-5pm Monday – Friday. We service clients between 8am-6pm daily. We do not currently provide weekend bookings at this time.

How Many Cleaners Do You Send?

Depending on the size of your job, we send the appropriate amount of cleaners. For example, if we are cleaning a 500 sqft condo, we likely would only send one cleaner as space is limited. But if we are doing larger jobs we can send a team of 2 or more to get the job done. Our goal is to be 4hrs or less on site.

Do You Do Post-Reno Cleaning?

We are a finishing crew. Meaning we will do the final detailed cleaning prior to returning property to clients or delivery. We do not work in construction zones and or clean/ remove construction debris.

Is Maid4Condos Part Of Any Organization Or Associations?

Yes. Maid4Condos is a member of ISSA and ARCSI which are the North American Associations for Commerical and Residential cleaning. These resources help ensure M4C is always aware of the latest technology and industry trends to provide the best possible cleaning service to our clients.

How Long Has Maid4Condos Been In Business?

Maid4Condos has been in business since 2014. We are a family run business who truly cares about each and every client we have the opportunity to service.

Can I Get Compensated For Referrals?

Yes. If you have a Maid4Condos.com profile, you can share your referral code with friends and family. They get $20 off their first cleaning and you get $20 for every referral in M4C credit. Yes absolutely. The cleaners love getting recognized for their hard work and caring for your home. This gesture goes a long way. The best way to do this is with cash on site during the service. Do Your Work Evenings & Weekends?

We do not work evenings or weekends in residential homes at this time.

Is There Anything Maid4Condos Does NOT Do?

We Do Not Clean Inside of or hard to reach light fixtures, exterior windows, blinds, drapes or shades, inside dishwasher or washing machines and hood fans.
Bugs We do not offer cleaning services for during or post infestation for the health and safety of our staff.
Heavy Items – To protect health and safety of our cleaners, they do not move anything heavier than 30 lbs. Should you require us to clean behind heavy furniture or appliances, please move them prior to our arrival to allow access to the target area.
Working At Heights – For health and safety of our cleaners, we are not able to climb more than 2ft on latter or step stool. Keep this in mind as it relates to top of kitchen cabinets or hard to reach light fixtures or windows.
Clutter – We will work around any highly-cluttered areas to the best of our ability. Same goes with areas used for storage, like underneath beds and on top of cabinets. We ask that garbage and debris from floors, countertops, table tops etc be cleared prior to our arrival so that we can clean these surfaces.
Outside & Balconies – At this time we do not offer exterior or outdoor cleaning services.
Pet/ Human Feces Or Bodily Fluids –  This includes and is not limited to: litter boxes, pet messes, bird poo, blood, feces, urine, and overflowed toilets or plumbing issues. Cleaning bodily fluids (including that of your pets) is something we do not provide.
Mold, Grease & Mildew Removal – Maid4Condos does not assume responsibility for the restoration of severely worn, stained or mildewed/ mold infested caulking and grout. Some mild pink or mold presence can be normal and we can tackle this. Should the property have a mold infestation that may pose a air quality issue, we reserve the right to remove our staff for health and safety. Our cancelation policy would apply.
Chimneys & Fireplaces – We do not clean inside fireplaces from soot or ashes.
Ironing – We do not offer ironing or clothes folding. Folding is included if you have added a load of laundry as an extra to your booking
Carpet Cleaning – We do not offer commercial carpet cleaning or shampooing. We do have a partner which offers this service, contact us for more details.

Is it safe around me, children and pets?

YES. Our GermBlasters Solution has a 0-0-0 rating on SDS sheet meaning it is non toxic, won’t damage materials or surfaces, non corrosive and will not irritate skin. It is also NSF-certified (no rinse required) for food-contact surfaces.

Will it damage my surfaces?

NO.  Our solution is safe to handle without gloves or a respirator, it’s colourless and VOC and fragrance free, it won’t harm hard or soft surfaces or colourfast fabrics, and it’s so mild you can literally wash your hands in it. It is also biodegradable, breaking down into simple salts that don’t pollute our oceans, lakes, and rivers. Unlike some cleaning chemicals that may produce trihalomethanes (THM) and haloacetic acids (HAAS), which impact human health, our solution is safe for you, your kids, yours pets and the planet.

Is GermBlasters approved to use by the CDC & Health Canada?

YES. Our solution Vital Oxide is approved by the EPA and Health Canada as effective to use against Covid-19 and is safe or Level 4 in toxicity level, which is the lowest possible level and is safe. What do you mean by Hospital-Grade disinfectant?

Essentially approved to use in the safest and most demanding environments like hospitals which demand approved and certified products that work. By definition: Hospital grade disinfectants are broad spectrum disinfectants that can be used for multiple areas, from tile and glass to stainless steel and laminated surfaces. This makes them usable on just about any area of the home or workplace, including bathrooms, offices, kitchens, cafeterias and more.

Does GermBlasters target COVID-19?

YES. Our GermBlasters solution has been approved by the CDC, EPA and Health Canada for use against the SARS-COV-2, the coronavirus that causes Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). We meet the EPA and Health Canada’s emerging pathogen requirements fore viruses showing efficacy against envelope and non-envelope virus, both large and small.

What does the GermBlasters Solution Target or kill?

Our GermBlasters solution targets a long list of common cold, flu and influenza virus and bacteria. It is a EPA registered hospital-grade disinfectant cleaner, food surface sanitizer, mold killer, and heavy duty odor eliminator. Effective on a broad-spectrum of virus, and bacteria, including “super bugs” like MRSA and H1N1, it breaks down to simple salt and produces no harmful by-products. It kills over 40 other strains of superbugs like Hepatitis A, B, C, influenza, HIV Type 1 and so many others.

Our GermBlasters solution is NSF certified D2 (No Rinse Required) as a food contact surface sanitizer, and kills 99.999% of bacteria, including E. coli, Salmonella and Listeria in less than 60 seconds. What does NSF “No Rinse Required” Certification mean?

Certified by NSF International – The Public Health and Safety Company – a no rinse-required sanitizer for food contact surfaces. That’s real important when it comes to use in residential and commercial kitchens, and FDA and health Canada inspected food processing establishments, and equally important for all around use in your home, office or establishment. For too long we have had no choice but to use chlorine bleaches, and other harmful chemicals laden with cancer causing compounds, and irritating fumes. This simply means that it can go onto surfaces where food may be prepped, cooked or handled without needing to be fully rinsed prior to use.

How long does the treatment last?

We recommend that areas with a lot of people or traffic be treated frequently and consistently. Can I just use bleach to disinfect?

…please don’t!

Bleach is one of the most corrosive and deadly chemicals yet it still can be found at every supermarket and drugstore.

With such broad household use, it’s important to remember the risk it poses to children (especially because small amounts will affect them more than adults) or anyone unaware of its effects. Same for pets.

The burn you feel when using bleach products or the coughing you may experience is a sign of the corrosive properties of bleach in your body…

And that slippery feeling of bleach on your skin? That’s actually caused by the lye (caustic soda) reacting to the fats and oils on your skin.

Below are the personal and environmental concerns of using chlorine bleach:

When bleach is mixed with ammonia, it creates a deadly gas. Remember that urine contains ammonia, so using bleach in the toilet increases the risk of creating a toxic gas that can actually stop lung function.

Chlorine and dish soap can create mustard gas, a deadly gas used as a weapon in WWI. What is bleach even doing in our homes and workplace?

Chlorine is actually a gas at room temperature, which means most people can inhale it at home and at work in small quantities, Daily 24/7.

In its gaseous form (such as at room temperature, mentioned above), chlorine bleach can create dioxins, a known cancer-causing compound also related to birth defects, miscarriage, infertility, diabetes, immune disorders and more.

Pets and birds are more susceptible to inhalation of chlorine bleach fumes because of their small air capacity and the likelihood of filling their lungs with vapors.

Chlorine bleach is highly corrosive to the skin, lungs and eyes, as well as other materials, and can actually cause chemical burns and ulcerations.

The oxidation of chlorine may also form hypochlorous acid, which has the ability to penetrate and destroy cell structure.

Chlorine bleach may increase asthma and allergy symptoms because of the likelihood of inhalation. It can also cause wheezing, bronchospasm and sometimes noncardiogenic pulmonary edema (a lung condition that prevents enough oxygen from entering the blood).

Ingestion of bleach causes corrosive damage to the tissues of the gastrointestinal tract.
Chlorination of drinking water can oxidize organic contaminants, producing trihalomethanes (also called haloforms), which are carcinogenic (cancer-causing).

When chlorine bleach is mixed with wastewater it is found to form numerous organic compounds. Two of those compounds are chloroform – which can cause dizziness, headache, respiratory issues, heart attack, liver and kidney damage, birth defects and more – and carbon tetrachloride – which is responsible for nerve damage, liver and kidney degeneration, coma and death.

Chlorine bleach and wastewater can also create Trihalomethanes, a toxic carcinogen that has been linked to breast cancer, miscarriage and other fertility issues in animals.

Chlorine bleach also breaks down in the environment to “halides”, which can harm shellfish, as well as other aquatic life.

Organichlorides, which contain chlorine, persist in the environment for long periods of time and have been linked to reproductive issues, immune dysfunction, cancer, hormonal disruption and more.

In conclusion – bleach is a dangerous chemical you should be very careful handling and avoid all together!

Is there any prep work that needs to be done before?

YES. For the GermBlasters disinfectant to be affecting, surfaces should be cleaned prior to the treatment. If you are booking with Maid4Condos cleaning and GermBlasters together, our cleaning crew will come first and GermBlasters after. If you are adding GermBlasters to compliment your facilities, office, school or gym cleaning – we would recommend we coordinate to provide the treatment after your cleaning crew has cleaned the premisses.

Do I have to leave the premisses during the GermBlasters Service?

What Type Of Cleanings Does Maid4Condos Offer?

Maid4Condos provides cleaning packages which are Basic, Basic+, Deep and Moving Cleaning packages. To learn more about the cleaning packages please click here to visits our cleaning packages page.

Can I Book A Specific Date And Time?

Yes. During the booking process you will be able to select a service date and arrival window. Our scheduling manager will receive your booking and send a confirmation. You will be be notified during the process of what status your booking is in.

How can I provide you access?

During the booking process you will have various access methods to choose from: You will Be Home, Key At Concierge, Smart Key Pad or LockBox and Instructions. If this changes, please advise our office at your earliest. The best and most efficient methods are key at concierge and lockbox access.

What If I Don’t Know The Sizing Of My Home?

Size does matter. Since size directly relates to amount of time we allocate to the service, its important to provide accurate sizing details when booking. If you are not sure of the exact amount, best to round up or contact us for guidance.

Are Cleaning Products Included?

Yes. Our team comes equipped with all the basics to clean a home. This includes Comet, Spic&Span, Magic Eraser, Fresh cloths and sponges, feather duster and professional grade flat mop. The only things we ask that you provide are vacuum and toilet brush. If you are booking a post-reno or moving cleaning, this includes the vacuum. Otherwise you can add the vacuum as an extra to your cleaning if you don’t have one. If you have special request for specific products, we ask that you provide them for our team to use ie ceramic cooktop cream or special floor treatment. Please note that we do not use any harsh or dangerous chemicals. If it has a skull or bones or dangerous label, we do not use it.

What Products Do You Use?

We use Procter & Gamble P&G, Vileda and other leading brands of professional grade products. We are very aware in our products selection to ensure to consider the environment and efficiency when making our selections. That is why all of our products are biodegradable and sage on the environment.

Do You Offer Frequency Discounts?

Yes. By joining AutoPilot we offer up to 20% off for weekly, biweekly and monthly cleaning schedules. Customizable rates can be offered for daily service or for high volume cleaning services. Do I Have To Sign A Contract?

No. For our AutoPilot regularly scheduled residential clients you do not need to commit to a contract, but by using our services you do agree to our Cleaning Service Agreement terms. We work very hard to keep you as a valued client. For corporate clients there are separate service agreements and terms.

What If My Home Is Not In “Average Condition” Or Needs More Time?

Maid4Condos quoting and booking is designed to be accurate to provide the entirety of the chosen package as long as accurate sizing, room count and average condition of the space. Should inaccurate sizing or below average condition of the property be found – Maid4Condos reserves the right to contact you to request extra time to address the needs of the home. Should the extra time not be approved, Maid4Condos staff will do their best within the allocated time assigned to the home and you waive your satisfaction guarantee. All cleaning services booked with Maid4Condos have a time limit associated to the cleaning as we cannot foresee in what condition the property is in prior to our arrival ie grease, mold, mildew, grime, excessive dust, dirt etc. Additional time, if requested, is at an hourly rate determined between the client and Maid4Condos at time of request. You will not be charged without your approval, however if our attempts to reach you during an active service to report conditions or request extra time fails, we will have to stop the service at the max time allocated to the service.

How Do I Count Full & Half Baths?

When counting bathrooms, please count all toilets. 1/2 baths are counted as 1. The quoting tool is designed to take this into consideration.

Do I Count The Den As A Bedroom?

No. Unless the den is setup as a bedroom, then yes you would, otherwise please simply make sure its included in your square footage.

Do You Clean Appliances?

Yes. You can add either the fridge or the oven as extras to your cleaning service. We do not clean inside of washing machines or dishwashers.

Do Your Offer Window Cleaning?

Yes. We do offer interior window cleaning which can be added to your cleaning as time of booking or call us to add to your already booked service.

Why Are Some Dates On The Calendar Blocked?

We keep our calendar up-to-date. Should a date be blocked it would likely be due to either being a Holiday or fully booked. We do recommend booking as far in advance as possible to secure the date you want.

If I Book Reoccurring AutoPilot Cleaning Schedule, Can I Change Any Future Date?

Yes. Please let us know if you need to reschedule, skip or change a future date as far in advance as possible and it will be our pleasure to assist. As long as you are outside of the cancellation policy there is no issue.

What If My Reoccurring Cleaning Date Falls On A Holiday?

If your regular schedule lands on a Holiday, we will change you to the next available date and communicate the change to you. By default we will move your cleaning to the following day unless it’s already booked. Should the date reschedule not work for you, simply reply back with a request to change and we will accommodate as long as it is not within our cancelation window and the date is available.

Inside Oven

Oven cleaning can be added to your Basic, Basic+ and Deep cleaning. It is included by default to a moving cleaning service package. To prep for oven cleaning, if you oven has a self cleaning option, please start this at least 24hrs prior to your service. This will help us have awesome efficient results. If not, that is totally ok. The staff come equipped with Easy-Off which is effective at cleaning the oven.

Inside Fridge

Cleaning your fridge can be daunting. That is why we have this extra service add on for your Basic, Basic+ and Deep cleaning package. It is included by default to a moving cleaning service package. To prep for your fridge cleaning, please ensure to completely purge anything you no longer want or need prior to our arrival. Our staff will clean all shelving, drawers, nooks and crannies in your fridge. Please note that we are not able to effectively clean freezers and simply give them a quick wipe.

Inside Windows

Inside windows package is a great way to bring light into your home. This extra is an optional add on for your Basic, Basic+, Deep and Moving cleaning package. To prep for the windows package, please ensure to remove any and all screens from windows prior to our arrival. You taking you time with these vs our staff will help in preventing any accidental broken clips which can be fragile. We will clean all windows up to 9′ tall inside the home. This does not include outdoor windows.

Vacuum Delivery

In order to provide a cleaning to Maid4Condos standards, we need a vacuum to vacuum all floors and surfaces and depending on the package you choose, we also need for under furniture, bedding, baseboards and ceiling vents. If you have a vacuum at home, awesome we can use yours. If not, please add this extra and we will have a vacuum delivered to the staff for your service. Do note that Moving Cleaning Package includes the vacuum by default in the package.

Laundry Load

When adding the laundry load to your service, this would include only 1 laundry wash and fold. If you book this, please contact our office to advise exactly what you want us to launder. If you have multiple loads, please contact us so that we can advise the cleaning staff and ensure to charge accordingly. Most use the laundry extra to have us launder the linens from bedding.

Preparing For Your Cleaning

How Should I Prepare For Maid4Condos Staff Arrival?

There’s always that age old rule of whether you should clean before the cleaner comes… The answer is YES. Please  ensure to pick up all loose items, garbage and debris, and loose articles of clothing from floors, table tops, countertops etc. This will ensure that the staff uses the allocated time for cleaning these surfaces vs picking up your items.

If I Have Special Instructions, How Can I Provide Them?

You can either provide special instructions on your booking within your online profile or reply to any of the emails you have received from us and let us know how we can help add notes to your booking and instructions to the Maid4Condos Staff. Can I Leave Notes For The Cleaners?

We prefer you advise the office of any special instructions to ensure we are all on the same page and we ensure things get done as requested. To contact our customer support team Bookings@Maid4Condos.com

Can I Be Home During The Cleaning?

Yes. However we do recommend heading out to run errands or like the majority of our clients, leave your key in a lockbox or with concierge for us to retrieve. If you are home, please give the cleaner space to get their work done.

Do You Arrive At An Exact Time?

We use either 2hr arrival windows or a flexible arrival window which means we will clean between 9am-5pm. This can be selected during you booking process. Maid4Condos provides you with an estimated arrival time relative to the scheduled appointment requested to allow for factors beyond our control such as traffic conditions, lockouts, and customers adding services or cancellations. Leaving a key with your concierge or a convenient lockbox is the easiest way to provide us with access to your home if you cannot be there.

How Can I Provide Access To The Cleaners?

During the booking process you will have various access methods to choose from: You will Be Home, Key At Concierge, Smart Key Pad or LockBox and Instructions. If this changes, please advise our office at your earliest. The best and most efficient methods are key at concierge and lockbox access.

Will I Receive Any Reminders?

Yes. 5 days before your upcoming cleaning, you will receive an email reminder and 3 days before an SMS text reminder for your cleaning. When you receive your email, this would be the time to make any special requests or accommodations to your cleaning.

Do I Need To Do Anything In Advance if I added Fridge Or Oven Cleaning?

Yes. For fridge cleaning we recommend removing anything you no longer need or want. This will ensure the staff can clean all the shelves, drawers and racks. Please note we only give a quick wipe to your freezer under it is unplugged for over 48hrs and at room temperature. For ovens, we recommend starting the oven self-cleaning option if the over is equipped at least 24hrs in advance.

Do I Need To Do Anything In Advance If I Added Window Cleaning Package?

Yes. Please ensure to move any larger furnishings out of the way. Also we request that all screens be removed from your windows if they have them prior to our arrival. Please note we cannot clean windows higher that 9ft tall.

What Is Your Cleaning Service Rate Or Charge?

We have cleaning packages that we offer from Basic, Basic+, Deep and Moving cleanings which are charged based on property sizing, number of bedrooms, bathrooms and sqft. There are extras you can add to your cleaning such as cleaning appliances or bringing additional equipment which can be added during the booking process. As long as accurate sizing is provided and the space is in average condition, the entirety of the package will be provided.

When Am I Charged For My Cleaning

When booking via the website or over the phone, you are charged at time of booking. You are eligible for a full refund adhering to our rescheduling and cancelation policy.

What Is Your Cancelation Policy?

For scheduled cleanings, Maid4Condos will assess a $50 cancellation fee if a cleaning service is cancelled or rescheduled within 48hrs of your scheduled cleaning. For same day cancellations, lockouts or rescheduling, or if we cannot gain access within 30 min of our arrival, we reserve the right to charge the greater of $75 or 50% of the total service fee.

Reoccurring Service Cancelation: Our cancelation policy applies to each visit. To cancel a reoccurring schedule prior to 4 or more completed visits, you will be charged the difference from your frequency rate to a one-time cleaning fee for prior visits.
